Four ways one evening goes sideways

Write Blind
You only ever see the last scrap left for you — a few words, or a line so blacked out it looks classified. Everything else stays folded away.
Hide the Word
Every turn hands you a secret word to smuggle into your fragment. Get away with it and it's on your record. Get caught and the whole table knows.
Mixed Rounds
Flip on the mixed round and the game alternates: write a line, draw the next bit from three words, then read a drawing back into a sentence.
The Running Table
Every finished story is kept — who wrote what, whose word slipped past everyone. Your group builds a scoreboard that grows over weeks.

📄We're a small crew who missed the version of game night where nobody's staring at separate screens. SeamFlux started as a paper-and-pen habit passed between friends, and we rebuilt it as an app that still feels like paper — folded, secretive, and a little bit chaotic.
🎯Our mission is simple: give groups a reason to put one phone in the middle of the table instead of four phones around its edge. No feeds, no logins, no waiting for anyone else to be online — just a shared object everyone touches in turn.

Privacy Policy

SeamFlux was built around a simple rule: the game stays on the phone it's played on. This policy explains, plainly, what that means in practice.

Information We Collect
We collect none. SeamFlux does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information at any point during setup or play. There is no sign-up screen because there is no account to create.

How We Use Information
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, profile, or sell. We have no marketing lists, no behavioral tracking, and no data pipeline of any kind running behind the game.

Data Storage
Every story your group writes, every secret word issued, every drawing, and the running table of who wrote what and who got caught is stored only in the app's local storage on your own device. None of it is uploaded, synced, backed up to a server, or ever leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app removes it completely.

Third-Party Services
SeamFlux contains no analytics software development kits, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers of any kind. Nothing about your gameplay is shared with anyone, because nothing is transmitted anywhere in the first place.

Data Security
The simplest security model is having nothing to secure remotely. Since all game history and scores live only on your device and never travel over a network, there is no server-side database that could be breached and no account credentials that could leak.

Children's Privacy
SeamFlux is designed to be a safe pass-around game for family and friend groups of mixed ages, including teens. Regardless of a player's age, we do not collect any personal information from anyone, which means the app raises no data-collection concerns under children's privacy laws such as COPPA.

Your Control
You are always in complete control of your data because it never leaves your hands. There is no account to manage, delete, or recover. Deleting the app from your device deletes every story, score, and secret word history along with it — permanently and completely.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy is ever updated, the revised version will be included in a future app update along with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of SeamFlux after an update means you accept the revised terms.
